FFdshow caused a major problem with running F3 for me. I had to play around with the sound settings in it for a while for the crashes to stop, and also to hear the radio properly. An old Nvidia driver was causing problems for some, and yet others found out that their illegal copy was filled with little bugs that caused crashes. Way to go, Bethesda.
Updating the drivers will help many issues, not just updating the game itself, but your video driver, sound driver, and that damn ffdshow thing for folks that just have to do it.

You read wrong, 1.02 is out for computer, any other info you see for 1.02 is for fallout 3 instead of new vegas. The ps3 will automatically update it when its available and you start up the game, provided you are connected to the internet.

You read wrong, 1.02 is out for computer, any other info you see for 1.02 is for fallout 3 instead of new vegas. The ps3 will automatically update it when its available and you start up the game, provided you are connected to the internet.

i dont know why you want to do it offline but you can patch it by putting the ethernet cable in. you dont need gold membership to patch games as far as i know.

I have fallout 3 for the PC and the DLC's are extremely glitchy. Certain weapons don't work corectly in V.A.T.S. and perks fail. Why can't I delete the patch for Fallout New Vegas?

Well PSN allowed you to update Fallout when it was taken down. So I updated durring PSN down time and nothing is wrong. Nothing got corrupted and the game runs just like it did before the patch. I don't recognize any game fixes for some of the problems. Other than that nothing noticeable changed. Then again I am an individual and I don't know if anyone else got corrupted but I am very positive that your game saves won't get corrupted once the patch is applied.

bro, if you can hook up your computer to the internet, you can hook up the ps3 to the internet. theres tons of videos on youtube on how to hook a ps3 to the internet wirelessly or with an ethernet cable. save yourself all the trouble for the disc copying crap and just hook it upvacation rentals
