When will they put a patch to continue playing fallout new vegas?

i just bought the dlc for new vegas and apparently i can't play it until they patch the game so you can continue after the story ends. i would like to know if anyone knows when they'll put out the patch.When will they put a patch to continue playing fallout new vegas?
They have already stated they will not be changing the ending so you can continue after the last quest, the game will always have a definitive ending.

Your only option is to start the game again. Also it's advisable to have a high level character before starting the Dead Money DLC so if you do start again you'll need to level up to around level 25-30.

which dlc is this? and have you already completed the game?

if so, for now, youll have to load a save from before you started the last mission :)
